The SERC office is in Hoboken, New Jersey, just across the Hudson River from Manhattan. Hoboken has historic ties to national defense, serving as the port of embarkation and return for the American Expeditionary Forces during World War I. More than two million soldiers from across the United States boarded boats knowing their outcome in the war would be “Heaven, Hell or Hoboken.”
