Having served as SERC’s second chief scientist, Dan has contributed to reports on policy innovations to enhance the STEM talent pipeline, modularity in defense acquisition, digital engineering and model-based portfolio analysis at the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense, and many others. For SERC’s Acquisition Innovation Research Center, he has produced reports on model-based tools and data capability for portfolio management, intellectual property, additive manufacturing, and mission-aware digital transformation.
